Mekayla Maher (20), Daniella Stewart (20) and Bronte Marshall (22) were presented for judging at Moree Town and Country Club on Saturday, April 14.
Each girl was interviewed by a panel of three judges before mingling over a delicious afternoon tea.
Reigning Moree Show Society Showgirl Kate Lumber was in attendance to share her amazing experience as a finalist in The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition at the recent Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Kate, who has a love for all things agriculture, encourages all young people to get involved in their local show society and gave some great advice to this year’s candidates.
Mekayla, Daniella and Bronte will meet up again on the first day of the Moree Show on Friday, April 27, where they will be involved in the day’s events before the winner is announced the next day.
The 2018 Moree Showgirl will be announced at the Show’s official opening ceremony at 2.30pm on Saturday, April 28.
