About 130 people packed into the auditorium at Moree Services Club on Wednesday, April 11, where they enjoyed a two course meal and entertainment by Peter and Vicki Deneven who were a hit with the crowd.
“It was really good, everyone loved the entertainment,” organiser Lorraine Bartel said.
The luncheon also featured the announcement of Moree Plains Shire Council’s 2018 Senior Citizen of the Year award, which was presented to Cr Jim Crawford by fellow councillor Kerry Cassells.
The other nominees were Anthony Doyle, Betty Humphries and Joy Egan.
