The Moree Boars took on Tingha Tigers at Boughton Oval on Sunday, taking home wins across the board.
A-Grade came in strong from kick-off, dominating the scoreboard to a 60-22 victory.
“We gave Tingha Tigers a bit of a touch up. I’m happy with the boys and how they performed,” A-Grade coach Scott Girard said.
Joseph Wade, Richard Smith, John Lawton, Ashley Jarret, Brent McDonald and Kerrod Sampson scored the touchdowns, bringing the team to the top of the scoreboard. Teammate John Lawton walked off the field with an injury to his eye socket, after a head clash during the second half of the match.
“He will be sitting out for a couple of games. I’ll be looking for someone to replace him in the meantime,” Girard said.
Reserve Grade had a bye and currently sit fourth on the table.
U18s Tigers led the way for most of the game, however the Moree Boars clawed their way back to a 34 draw, placing fifth on the ladder.
Luke McDonald, Ted Hamilton, Ben Ryan, Lucas O’Neile and Grady Sinclair scored the touchdowns.
Ladies League-tag downed Tingha Tigers 24-4, taking out top spot on the ladder. Lena Smith, Kiara Smith, Shai-less Smith and Kristie Boney scored the tries.

A-Grade beat Glen Innes 40-30, with the Boomerangs placing third on the scoreboard.
Moree Boomerangs A-Grade coach Chris Binge said the players across the club put on a convincing performance.
“A-Grade player James Creighton was outstanding. He was involved in every minute of the game and he was well supported by new front rowers Kyle Butler and Pete Duncan.”
Teammate Zac Sampson was also praised for his defence work.
“The club didn’t have any trial matches during pre-season and Glen Innes is a strong team, that has only been getting stronger. It was a great way to test the Boomerangs at the start of the season,” Binge said.
Reserve Grade sit securely at the top of the scoreboard, after downing the Hawks 74-6.
U18s conceded victory to Glen Innes, with a 28-20 loss, pushing them down to sixth on the ladder.
Ladies League-tag struck out, with Glenn Innes leading 18-12 at the end. The team sits sixth on the ladder as well.
