Kenny is an Australian, former-professional five-eight and centre for the NSW blues and Parramatta Eels.
However, the Eels legend was last year diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, entering Kenny into a whole new ball game- off-field.
Kenny hopes to share his story of hardship, strength and determination to inspire local men.
Hosted by a contingent of local organisations, the men’s health night will be held at the Warialda Showground on April 27.
In it’s fourth year, organisers hope to see more than 250 blokes enjoy the free night out.
Black Dog Institute, Prostate Cancer and Sleep Apnoea representatives will also make presentations on the evening.
Free health checks and information stalls will be set up around the showground for people to utilise.
Christine Connor, of Healthwise, said the event first evolved when drought relief funding was available for farmers doing it tough.
“We just felt blokes needed a night out, a chance to all get together and enjoy themselves.
“The event was also a way to attract some special guest speakers to talk about the seriousness of mental health.”
The event has since gone from strength to strength, last year attracting more than 270 men.
Buses will be running from Gravesend and Yallaroi Hall, with a free barbecue dinner provided.
