The Crows will battle it out at Crow Park with Moree Weebolla Bulls, Robb College, Gwydir River Rats, Warialda Wasps and the Moree Barbarians for a top day of rugby union.
Each team will play twice in 20-minute halves and the two teams with the most points will then face off in the final.
When the football is finished, spectators and players can dance the night away to Avenue for Troy.
With jumping castles for the kids and a barbecue being put on by the Croppa Creek School, Crows’ Drew Hawkins said it’s a great family day out.
“It should be another great family fun day,” he said.
The popular gala day, which usually attracts up to 500 people, is not only a great pre-season fixture but is a big fundraiser for the Croppa Creek community.
This year, the event will be raising money for external fencing at the club, as well as renovations on the tennis court lights and the Croppa Creek Hall.
“We are trying to raise money not only to keep the club going but for the community as well,” Hawkins said.
This year there will be buses running to and from Moree via Pallamallawa.
Buses will leave from the Royal Hotel Moree at 11am on Saturday, March 24, and will return to Moree, via Pally at 9pm and 11pm.
The first game will kick off at 12pm.
