St Philomena’s School was the first of the Moree schools to hold their swimming carnival, held on Friday, February 9.
As students raced in the pool, there was plenty of chanting and cheering from the crowd of students, teachers and parents who attended the day.
The sidelines were a sea of colour, as students got into the spirit of the day by dressing in their house colours.
Swimmers competed for points for their houses, as well as the chance to progress to district level.
