There were plenty of smiles, and no tears in sight, at the gates of Moree Public School on Wednesday, as Moree’s first lot of 2018 kindergarten students began their first day of big school.

With their oversized backpacks and uniforms a few sizes too big, a new batch of fresh-faced kindergarteners started school with mums, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and cousins all on hand to support them as they began their schooling life.
Moree Public School welcomed approximately 80 new kindergarten students on Wednesday, February 7.
