There have been no new updates on the whereabouts of Mr Torrens, who was last seen leaving Fairview Retirement Village at about 9.20am on Friday, January 5.
It has now been 19 days – nearly three weeks – since Mr Torrens, who answers to ‘John’ or ‘Torro’, went missing and his enduring guardian Toni McCarthy said she “wouldn’t like to think” about what has happened to him.
“We just don’t know, it’s just a big mystery,” she said.
Ms McCarthy has collected Mr Torrens’ clothing and belongings from Fairview which she said was “very hard”.
“It’s extremely hard for his daughter and son-in-law and grandkids,” she said.
“I asked his daughter what she wanted me to do with his clothes and she said she’d hold onto them for when he’s found.”
Ms McCarthy has been ringing Moree Police Station “every day or so” but there has been no news.
Anyone who may have seen Mr Torrens or has any information on his whereabouts should contact Moree Police Station on 6757 0799.
