A massive weekend filled with meeting new people, experiences and doing a few workouts.

Firstly, just got to thank my family and girlfriend Alex, for all the support over the last few months leading up to this event and throughout the weekend.

Without it, I wouldn’t have got down there. Also, to all the GTK crew Heidi, Trent and their families for the cheering on, when the going got tough.

Highlight: I probably have two from the weekend.

1. Finishing the first event and probably not wanting to look at an assault bike for a little while.

2. Winning the final event of the weekend, the Kettlebell snatches and rowing.

It was a great feeling to finish the weekend with a win, having the family, my girlfriend and all the GTK crew right there at the finish cheering on.

Massive congratulations to Trent and Heidi over the weekend.

They put 100 per cent into every event and achieved some awesome results.
