The bushfire burning 10km south west of Bundarra is 4,850 hectares in size and is being controlled. Overnight, the fire is expected to continue burning in a west northwesterly direction towards Neranghi Road, Old Bundarra Road, Bundarra Road and Coonoora Road.

There are isolated rural properties in the area that may be impacted and firefighters have been liaising with residents throughout Saturday.
Firefighters will work overnight to bring the fire under control ahead of worsening conditions on Sunday.
