Flying a Jabiru J230D, 24-7597, he flew his first solo on January 16, 2018 with local flying instructor Fred Nolan.
Departing off runway 01 at 06:55, he flew his uneventful circuit and has subsequently flown a further four separate solo flights.
He is planning to achieve his pilot certificate by end of January, in time to return home and start his final Year 12. Daniel is aiming for a commercial flying career and this solo flight is a great stepping stone.
Whilst in Moree, Daniel is staying with his Grandmother Helen Palmer, Bendygleet West Moree.
Daniel is enjoying his time in Moree whilst completing his RAA Pilot Certificate.
