The stars will align this Saturday afternoon at The Moree Rugby Club as the Life Life Like Sal committee hosts its family fun day in aid of local cancer fighter Sally Kilner.
And while all funds raised go to helping the Kilner’s cause, the day promises to be a whole of community event catering for all.
Committee member Jamelie Dudley-Smith said the afternoon was not only a wonderful way to support the Kilner family, but a great opportunity to enjoy a social, fun day out.
“There is quite a lot going on and we have a fantastic schedule of entertainment to get people in the mood starting with local performers Jac Lillyman and Stevie Jean, with DJ Millsey from Tamworth playing later into the evening,” Mrs Dudley-Smith said.
“There’s a great line up of activities for the little ones, including a dedicated Kids Corner, jumping castle and a jaw dropping fireworks display.”
We have been absolutely blown away by the generosity of the community.

From 5.30 the event will also feature a highly-coveted auction, with businesses from across the North West generously donating a range of products and services.
“We have been absolutely blown away by the generosity of the community, which is a wonderful reflection on the affection felt towards Baz and Sal.”
Local Stock and Station Agent Antony Glynn will be sure to dollars, and laughs, rolling while an evening barbeque and canteen facilities will keep the hunger at bay.
Mrs Dudley-Smith encouraged everyone from the community looking for a fun day and night out to head down to the Moree Rugby Club on Saturday.
“Even if you don’t know Sal - Grab some friends for a night out or gather some families and get the kids out of the house - it’s sure to be an event for all.” Tickets to the Live Life Like Sal Family Fun Day are $10 and available at Mark Coulton’s Office, SRF Accountants, La Maison Rose or at the gate.
