The film will be screened at the Lifestyle Academy, where the Salvation Army is currently located with free entry and popcorn, and refreshments available for purchase.
To make the afternoon more festive, kids and adults alike are encouraged to come dressed in a troll inspired costume to win a prize.
Everyone has either seen or heard of the popular children’s movie and are encouraged to attend the fun-filled afternoon.
Community development officer Dominic Wilcox said it was just the start of what he hoped would be a productive partnership between the council and Salvation Army.
“One of the issues that Moree residents often raise is the lack of activities for families and kids.
“We’re hoping that this will be the first of many activities that provide family entertainment, and that we get a good turnout from all segments of the community.”
