The Moree Day VIEW Club will hold its next monthly lunch meeting on Wednesday, May 24 at 11am at the Moree & District Services Club. The club raises funds for the education expenses of disadvantaged children and welcomes new members and guests. To book your attendance at the next lunch, please call Joy on 6752 4040.

TALMOI PICNIC RACES
The final leg of the Golden Triangle Bush Races, the Talmoi Picnic Races are set to be huge this year. One of Australia's oldest picnic race meetings is celebrating a century of racing. A fun family day out to watch the horses run. The Talmoi picnic races are run at Garah, just south of the Queensland border in NSW. For more information: www.moreetourism.com.au

WJ’S ROWENA CRACKER NIGHT
The Rowena Preschool will hold a fundraising cracker night on the June long weekend, on Saturday, June 11. Gates open 5-11pm. Under 5s free; 5-12 years $10; Over 12s and adults $20. Included in the gate price are a barbecue meal and supper, live entertainment, music around the bonfires and of course the fireworks. BYO drinks and chairs. Call 0428 539 680 for more information.
