Bernadette Terry wanted to give Darryl a “triple” thumbs up after she met him at the cemetery.
“He was standing at the tap rinsing dust from flowers that had been blown off graves and laying around to rot,” she wrote.
“I told him he was doing a great job. That's when he replied, 'I'm cleaning up all the old flowers that are still in good condition and putting them on the old graves that don't have any flowers. I do it every year’.”
She described Darryl as a thoughtful, compassionate, young man.
Admin confirmed as of Monday morning there were 738 likes on the post and 57 comments. One of those comments was from April Worley who gave a big thanks to Darryl. “Both my parents, and my Nanna are buried there, and it's nice to know someone is there making things nice. You a great young man,” she wrote.
