Residents of Moree Plains Shire will join the rest of the nation to remember, pause and reflect on the conflicts that have gone before us, and are still being battled, during Anzac Day commemorations throughout the district next Tuesday, April 25.

In Moree, participants will meet in Morton Street at 5.50am and march to Moree and District Services Club for a 6am service.
At 9am, a ceremony will begin at the Max Wales Memorial before march participants gather in Kirkby Park at 9.30am. The march will go along Balo Street ending at the Moree Memorial Hall where the ceremony will begin at 10am. Morning tea, provided by Moree Girl Guides, will follow.
The Mungindi dawn service will start at 5.45am at Mungindi RSL Club, followed by breakfast. People will meet at the club for the march at 10.30am, with the service at 11am.
The Pallamallawa community will meet at Pallamallawa Memorial Hall at 5am for a 5.30am dawn service with breakfast to follow.
Boomi community members are asked to assemble at 10.45am at the old post office and march to the Boomi Hall where the service will commence at 11am, followed by a community luncheon.
In Garah, march participants will meet at the CWA at 10am and head to the Garah Hall for wreath-laying, followed by morning tea.
The Bellata community will assemble at the school at 10.15am and then march to the hall at 10.30am. Laying of wreaths will be at 10.45am and the service at 11am, followed by morning tea. At 1pm there’ll be a lunch at the Golf Club.
Croppa Creek will hold a service at the Soldiers Memorial Hall at 7.30am, followed by a barbecue breakfast.
The Collarenebri dawn service will begin at 6am at the cemetery, with the main service at 11am at the club.
