Barwon Local Area Commander Superintendent Paul McDonald presented the awards and said they are held with high regard in the police force.

“It is a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of those here today and a gesture of thanks for the work they have done and continue to do,” he said.

“It is something we hold dear in our profession, in our hearts, that we recognise the good work of our police colleagues, staff and members of the community.

“It is a great achievement and something to celebrate with family and friends.”

Supt. McDonald said he’s very proud of the work police from Barwon LAC are doing, as well as of the community’s ongoing support.
