Your new role

The successful candidate will have an extensive electrical engineering background specialising in the Primary Design of Electrical Substations here in Australia. You will be required to be the Senior Engineer within the team from a technical standpoint. You will be working on some exciting projects within the Victorian electrical utilities. This role has a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to tailor the responsibilities to the successful candidates’ induvial strengths and skill sets. The role is based in their amazing Melbourne CBD office with WFH options as well.

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in primary design of electrical substations
• Primary design capability and a broader understanding of the interaction between disciplines in transmission and distribution substations
• An understanding of project management and construction requirements
• Ability to work in teams and co-ordinate activities
• Attention to detail and penchant for meeting timelines
