Senior Back End Developer

Your new company
This Perth property developer is synonymous with flair, entrepreneurialism, opulence and innovation. They are leading the way in technological advancement and data in the property industry and need a Software Developer to join them to ensure the stay on the right path.

Your new role
This exciting opportunity would mean you are the first inhouse software developer. You will be the conduit between the business and the clients. The bespoke system has been built and now needs to be managed, enhanced and given the required cloud functionality. You will be working and communicating with the companies well known execs and have the ability to advise on best practice. You would manage the product and work with the Data Lead on which data driven enhancements will be commercially viable and offer exceptional upgrades to more users.

What you'll need to succeed
Attitude and work ethic are two important attributes here. As first software developer in house you may need to take people on the journey. There will be times when you need to advise others why things need to be done a certain way but also be prepared to jump in at the deep-end and work with the team to ensure results are delivered.

Technical skills that are required but not essential:

• Jira Integrations – Worked with and developed Jira APIs
• Azure – Worked in Azure environment and developed functionality in the cloud
• .Net – Currently .Net libraries and frameworks but happy to be lead in a new direction
• ETL - Data spectrum

Soft skills include:

• Ability to work with and understand colleagues, clients and commerciality
• Attention to detail and great work ethic
• Team player, problem solver, innovator
