Full job description

Your new company
A number of exciting temporary opportunities has arisen within a Federal Government Department based in the Sydney CBD. This department is seeking all-round administrators and customer service professionals, with experience working in a front of house / receptionist role.

Previous experience in a public sector or legal organisation is advantageous but not essential.

Your new role
This includes tasks such as:

  • Data entry and high attention to detail
  • Counter/reception duties
  • Operating the switchboard
  • Registering new applications and using three different case management systems
  • Hearing attendant duties
  • Mail duties (opening the mail, deliver to all AAT floors, scanning)
  • Taking payments over the counter

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have:

  • Clear communications skills
  • Ability to respond quickly and be empathetic
  • Have a desire to learn
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Great customer service and most of all a positive attitude!
