Specialists have examined a number of crime scenes following aggravated break and enters in Anne Street and Jones Avenue.

At about 1am on Friday the male resident of an Anne Street home was confronted by offenders, including one male armed with scissors. The offenders fled empty handed.
Later, around 3.30am the same offenders are believed to be responsible for the attempted theft of a motor vehicle from Barwon Avenue.
At 4am offenders forced entry to a home in Jones Avenue where a male and female resident were confronted by an offender armed with a knife.
The males demanded money and vehicle keys from the victim. The offenders left in a white Toyota Hilux which was soon recovered in bushland off Mehi Crescent.
Police, including Crime Scene officers, have processed the scenes and conducted a canvas of the area where a number of items of interest were located.
