Moree remembers fallen soldiers during 2017 Remembrance Day service

AT 11AM on Saturday, November 11, the people of Australia, including Moree, stopped what they were doing and paused for a minute of silence to remember the sacrifice servicemen and women have made for our country.

About 50 people attended Saturday’s Remembrance Day service, which marked the 99th anniversary since the guns fell silent on the Western Front in 1918. at Moree Services Club.

Moree RSL sub-branch senior vice president Roger Butler OAM was the master of ceremonies for the service, held at Moree and District Services Club.
