The live concert will see the talented singer/songwriter share remarkable stories in song about ordinary people in a way that is fresh, interesting and entertaining.
The tour marks a new sound for Colin, who is best-known as a children’s entertainer, and sees him return to the country music scene.
“There’s power in the collision of story and music and I’m hoping that’s what will make Calvary Road a satisfying evening for anyone, regardless of what they believe,” says Colin.
In partnership with charity Compassion Australia, Calvary Road will tour throughout regional NSW and QLD to bring these stories and music to life.
Compassion Australia CEO Tim Hanna says, “We’ve had a great long standing relationship with Colin, and we know that this tour will be a great opportunity for Australians to hear his heart, but also for all those children and sharing their stories as well.”
The Calvary Road Tour will start on Tuesday, October 24 in Maryborough and continue through Chinchilla, Alstonville, Moree, Gunnedah, Dubbo and Orange.
