Amongst that group will be a group of Wally Warner-trained athletes.
Over 20 students who train with the evergreen running coach will compete at the PSSA carnival in a range of events.
From running – both individual and relay events – to long jump, discus and shot put, Warner’s students do it all.
However, running is Warner’s main game and that’s where he believes most of the medals will come from.
We’ll have a lot of good chances at the carnival.
- Warner said of his up-and-coming track stars.
“You’ll have to look out for the runners, there’s a lot of good chances in the 100 metres, 200 metres, 800 metres and 1500 metres.”
The NSW Primary School Sports Association Athletics Carnival will be held over Wednesday and Thursday in Sydney.
