Buggies, standards and modifieds will take the muddy track from 9am to prove who really has the best mud bomb around the district.
The track has been properly prepared and is ready for the weekend.
Holes have been soaking for a couple of weeks to put all the bomb drivers to the test.
Each class will be racing for the title of Mud Bomb of the Year Award with only a few points separating competitors.
Veteran mud-bomber Errol Carter said nominations would be accepted from 7am at the Pally recreational grounds prior to racing at 9am.
“There will be some entertaining muddy action on Sunday as all drivers are going for the Mud Bomb of the Year Award. It’s their very last chance to secure points,” he said.
Errol said half a dozen cars were in the running for the title in the standard class whereas the buggies and modifieds both had four competitors very close in points.
“It’s probably going to come down to who wins on the day as to who will get the award in each division.”
Full canteen facilities will be available for anyone wishing to watch the action-packed day of racing.
Entry for adults will be $10 and anyone under 12 will require a gold coin donation.
The full-on day is estimated to be finished around 4.30pm on Sunday.
Last year’s mud trials saw a few local successes in each category.
The standard division proved most popular and Flogga was the winning bomb with 590 points, followed closely by The General with 570 points.
In the buggies, Sugardaddy easily took home the win with 756 points and Yeti came in a tidy second place with 698 points.
There were only a few modifieds entered in 2016, however it was Hershey that pulled through in first place on 620 points. In second place was Little Deviot with 590 points.
