Moree Boars are set to host Narwan Eels on Sunday for round 25 of the Group 19 competition.

The Boars committee have dedicated the round to Beanies for Brain Cancer and have already sold out of the 50 official beanies.

There will also be a raffle on the day, will all proceeds donated to the brain cancer research cause.

Boars’ Vicki Annis-Brown said the beanies sold out very quickly.

“Within three hours of me posting to the Moree Boars Facebook page, all 50 beanies had sold out,” she said.

Raffle prizes include a hamper from Tourism Moree and some beautiful wooden items from All About Lifestyle.

Donation tins will be located at the gate, canteen and bar.

“Hopefully a few of the players will head around to the crowd and ask for some more donations,” she said.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their favourite beanie to raise awareness for the cause and join in on the spirit of the day.

“This is a great cause and hopefully we can raise some money to help.”
