The brochure, which features stylised ads with a crisp, clean approach, promotes Moree as an attractive destination to visit, invest and potentially live.
Moree mayor and Tourism Moree board member Katrina Humphries had the honour of launching the brochure at Moree Visitor Information Centre on Wednesday.
“I’d like to thank our committee for all the hard work,” she said.
“It’s something for us to be extremely proud of. The girls did an amazing job.
“It’s a wonderful promotional story about Moree Plains and our villages and our local produce.”
More than 85,000 copies of the brochure have been printed and will be distributed all over the country to promote Moree.
“It’s not just a tourism tool, it is an economic development tool – there’s real estate, education, general information, agriculture. We just think it’s a positive, happy message that we’re putting out about the Moree Plains,” Tourism Moree CEO Tammy Elbourne said.
“We’d like to get more people to come here and live, invest.”
Ms Elbourne said the feedback at launch was very encouraging.
“Everybody said they love the new look and that it’s fresh and modern,” she said.
“This is what the consumer wants.
“We’re looking forward to getting it out there to the masses.”
The brochure has already been distrubuted at the Sydney Trade and Travel Show which began on Anzac Day.
“The brochure has been really well received and it’s already been put into the hands of people thousands of kilometres away,” Ms Elbourne said.
