Can your dog jump higher than the back of your ute? Is it always jumping that bloody fence?
If so, you should think about entering him or her into the competition.
Stewards Greg Burey said new sponsors Badengi Engineering will reward the best three dogs on the day.
“We’ll start with the height of the back of the ute tray and increase the metres until the last dog is left,” Mr Burey said.
First, second and third prizes are up for grabs to the best of the best.
The dog high jump will be held right in front of the grandstands on Saturday afternoon, depending on the schedule.
“Make sure you listen out for the high jump, it’ll be called over the speakers.”
Mr Burey said with a few weeks to go until the show, on April 28 and 28, a few dogs could still be trained to jump those extra few cms that could see you win first place. For more head to the Moree Show Society’s website.
