Young farmers and agribusiness professionals are invited to attend the half day conference, to be held at Moree Services Club this Thursday, February 23 at 2pm, followed by a two-course networking dinner at 6.30pm.
The theme is Commodities Connect and a mix of speakers will cover topics on the value in technology, mental health, communication within and about the industry and farm management, as well as discussions on the issues impacting the local community such as the Murray-Draling Basin Plan and spray drift.
Moree Young Aggies and Future Farmers vice chair Megan Davies said it’s a great networking opportunity for young farmers and business professionals.
“It’s a great opportunity to hear from a lot of diverse speakers who normally wouldn’t get to this area,” she said. “There are also a lot of farmers they can draw inspiration from.”
