About 20 kids enjoyed the touch football and Oz tag gala afternoon, held at Burt Jovanovich Oval on Wednesday, January 18.
The gala day is just one of many activities Miyay Birray has organised to keep local children entertained during the holidays as part of their school holiday program.
On Friday there’ll be a tennis and water fun day from 11am to 2pm at Miyay Birray Youth Service and an indoor sports day from 11am to 2pm at Moree Salvation Army on Monday, January 23, followed by activities in Mungindi on Tuesday.
A movie day from 11am to 2pm at the Salvation Army will be popular next Wednesday and finally, the holiday activities will wrap up with a junior disco on Friday, January 27 from 6pm to 9pm at the Salvos.
All activities are free and are open to all youth of Moree.
Any child under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
