At 8.55pm on Monday, November 28 one male, identified as 180cm tall wearing a black bandana, black hooded jumper with a white logo and grey trackpants, approached staff at a licensed premises armed with a metal pole. 

He stole a quantity of money before fleeing on foot. No-one was injured.

The second incident occurred at 10.10pm when two males forced entry into a business in Balo Street using a quad bike. They unsuccessfully attempted to take money from the cash register before leaving the scene.

At 10.30pm on the same night, four males used quad bikes to gain entry through a roller door to a licensed premises on Amaroo Drive where they smashed a display case and stole a number of bottles of bourbon.

The first male is described as 170-185cm tall with a solid build, wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark pants and gloves.

The second male is described as 165-175cm tall, of thin build, wearing a dark hooded jumper, light shorts and dark shoes and socks.

The third is said to be 165-175cm tall and wearing a white and black hooded jumper, black shorts and white sneakers, while the fourth male was wearing a dark top and shorts.

CCTV footage has been collected from the third scene and forensic investigators have attended each of the scenes.

Barwon LAC Detective Inspector David Silversides said police are hopeful of identifying the individuals involved.

“We responded to these jobs in the quickest possible time,” he said.

“We rely on the coorperation of the victims, business owners and the general public to give as much information to us as they can.”

Police are also monitoring their rostering system to ensure they have officers on the ground during at-risk periods
