The Moree Veterans Golf Group Competition results for July 21 saw 25 players for a stableford. The winner was Ian Treloar at 42, and John Gillan with 37 second. Nearest the pins were Ken Wells on the 7th, Guy Roberts on the 13th and John Gillan on the 17th where he was the pro pin.

The Moree Golf Club has planned to hold a golf day and fundraiser dinner on October 8 to assist with unexpected course expenses and seeks the support of all golfers and the business community.
The committee report stated the concept of a concrete cart path from the 1st tee to the 2nd and 10th tees was discussed and quotes only are to be sought for further consideration and approval.
