President, Peter Taylor, said there were 65 local riders combined with visitors from Tamworth, Armidale, Grafton, Cessnock, Goondiwindi, Narrabri and Lightning Ridge.
“A great day was had by all, it was a little warm but fine weather for the fourth round of the series,” he said.
“The competition was open to all. It was good to see many riders from all over the district attend the day.
“We had all senior classes, junior classes starting from the non-competitive 50s to the junior lights 15-16 years,” Taylor said.
Inverell rider, Jed Parson, had a nasty crash in the B grade race during the first lap.
“He was taken by ambulance to Moree District Hospital, he has since made a full recovery,” Taylor said.

The club have held a motocross event each month and are now looking forward to the North Coast Series tournament next month.
“This is a major northern NSW event and we are expecting up to 150 riders.
“Competitors travel from inland and coastal areas, so we are very excited to host this year,” Taylor said.
The Moree Motorcycle Club hopes to host a few practice days and possibly a club day before it gets too hot.
If anyone would like to become a part of the club they can visit the club’s website or call Peter Taylor on 0437 778 020.
Taylor also encouraged all the Facebookers to like their page ‘Moree Motorcycle Club’ for updates, information and photos of the local club events.
