Recently we spent a week in Moree while caravanning in NSW.
As with most regional towns we have become used to country hospitality, however our experience in Moree has been exceptional and we believe the following to be worthy of mention in your newspaper.
Requiring hospitalisation, following a leg infection with lingering consequences, I found the staff at Moree hospital to be extremely professional, caring and friendly towards us both.
Special mention goes out to Evonne, Victoria, Nihdan and Jo.
Brett O’Neill who manages the local Repco service centre went above and beyond our expectations to assist us on the eve of hospitalisation, effectively dropping everything to help us get an electrical issue in our van sorted.
He then totally amazed us by dropping in the next day (weekend) to make sure the issue was resolved for my wife.
The reception staff at the Gwydir Carapark provided exceptional support and understanding while I was hospitalised, and in what is a busy time for the park, allowed us to have an open ended stay, providing support for my wife at a difficult time.
Often it’s the little things that make a difference and in all the above experiences we were delighted to have been supported by our ‘Moree champions’.
