There will be everything from pig racing to campdraft and woodchopping competitions.
And this year will see some new events including a horse versus bike competition, farmers’ challenge and rodeo.
Mungindi Show Society president, Michael Brosnan, said the community were big fans of the dog trials and pig races.
“But the stand-out will be the rodeo,” Mr Brosnan said.
The farmers’ challenge will be held on Saturday night and will see endurance tested during various activities like pushing hay bales.
The Bubble Muffin healthy cooking classes for children will also return this year.
“It is a great hit with the kids,” Mr Brosnan said.
Children will also have the chance for an adrenaline rush by riding a sheep.
“Children are always busting to get on them,” Mr Brosnan said.
There will be a huge array of stalls, coffee, food, showbags and sideshow alley.
The show was moved two weeks ahead of time so it would fit in better with other community events.
“People can expect a really good quality, country show,” Mr Brosnan said.
