Many students recited poetry and gained places and favourable comments.
The primary class also very successfully performed their play earlier last week.
The play titled Anzac Day was written by the students.
They received third place and were thrilled to receive the overall encouragement award.
Another individual encouragement award was presented to Max Christie for his role, where the adjudicator made mention of his natural ability.
Students were still to perform poems, dance and sing, including the school choir this week.
Meanwhile, congratulations went to Sophie Hann for being selected in the Narrabri Zone PSSA Touch Football Team and playing well at the North West trials in Armidale.
The school is now looking forward to welcoming everyone on Friday for the zone cross country carnival where everyone will be trying their hardest to gain selection for regionals in June.
