Police are appealing for witnesses after a rock was thrown at a truck, hitting the driver, in Moree on Saturday.

Just before 7pm , a 65-year-old man was driving a B-double heavy vehicle south along Tycannah Street, Moree, and approached the intersection of Adelaide Street.
Police have been told, at this time, a rock was thrown through the passenger front window of the vehicle, causing the glass to shatter and hitting the man’s arm.
Officers attached to Barwon Local Area Command were called and commenced investigating the incident.
The driver was uninjured and did not require treatment.
It’s believed about six to seven children were seen running from the area at the time of the incident, east along Adelaide Street.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or any witnesses to come forward and contact them via Crime Stoppers.
