Katherine Roberts appeared in Moree Local Court on Monday after spending a night in custody on Friday.
The 26-year-old was charged after she was stopped and searched in a car on Cross Street on Thursday afternoon.
Police discovered a quantity of methyl amphetamine, commonly known as ice, in the vehicle which was seized for forensic examination. Roberts was granted bail at an out-of-sessions hearing in Moree Local Court on Friday and re-appeared this week, where she pleaded guilty to one count of supplying ice and another of possessing the prohibited drug.
Magistrate Michael O’Brien will sentence Roberts when she returns to court in May.
The arrest was part of Operation Torus which was established by Barwon police last month to target the drug networks circulating across the command.
Superintendent Gelina Talbot said they were still appealing for more community members to come forward.
“Information received to date is assisting police, but the more support and information we receive, the greater our capacity to build cases and bring them before the courts,” she said.
