Executive principal Denis Armstrong was pleased two students, Amy Randall and Andrew Stevenson, were able to make the ‘outstanding achiever’ status within NSW.
This was for their efforts in two unit industrial technology and two unit geography respectively. Amy was also able to demonstrate a strong performance in two unit retail services and achieved a band five for her efforts in this subject.
Andrew followed up his success in two unit geography with impressive results in both two unit legal studies and two unit business studies.
In both these subjects Andrew narrowly missed a band six result by one mark.
The school is proud of their 2014 students’ achievements and Mr Armstrong congratulated the staff and students on their performances in the HSC.
“With 22 band five results and two band six results, Moree Secondary College demonstrated candidates can achieve high academic results here in Moree,” Mr Armstrong said.
