The event was held on November 12 at the Moree and District Services Club with guest speaker Donna Boughton.
As a Centacare representative Ms Boughton spoke of the mental health work she undertook with people in the Moree shire.
She gave an insightful talk about what mental health was and breaking down the stigma.
Prizes were given to those with the quirkiest hats on the night, with three categories up for grabs. The hat with the most character went to Leo Reiner, the prettiest hat was awarded to Mary Reiner and the most creative hat was Genevieve Amos’. The night was enjoyed by about 15 people.
