The Miles Franklin information panels have been touring libraries across NSW since 2013. This exhibition has been organised to promote the legacy of Franklin, her prestigious literary award and Australian literature.
The Miles Franklin Literary Award is Australia’s oldest and most prestigious literary prize and awarded each year for the novel of the year judged to be of the highest literary merit which “must present Australian Life in any of its phases”.
Library coordinator Lana Aksenova said this was a fantastic and unique opportunity for the community to learn more about Franklin and her contribution to Australian literature.
“I encourage persons of all ages and cultural backgrounds to come along and view the exhibition,” said Ms Aksenova.
The Miles Franklin information panels will be at the Moree library from November 7 to 21
