The Cancer Council’s fundraiser is hosted locally biannually and this year around 400 residents were registered for the event.
Teams helped spread awareness and raise funds for cancer research by walking laps around the showground for 20 hours straight from 2pm on Saturday afternoon until 10am Sunday morning.
Moree Relay for Life Committee president, Dennis Purse, said residents had shown magnificent commitment.
“The people behind it, the volunteers are the backbone. I want to thank everyone. The support has been overwhelming,” Mr Purse said.
