Hosted by the Moree Motor Enthusiasts, the day was supported by a larger than last year crowd.
According to club member, Phil Partridge, the day was a success.
“We were down on 4WDs and boats but the number of vintage cars and motorcycles made up for that,” he said.
Mr Partridge commended the trades and dealers for putting a lot of effort into their displays.
“We had a live band this year that people really enjoyed. Next year though, we will better position them so the trades and dealers can be heard by the crowd,” he said.
Mr Partridge said there were a number of high quality drag racing cars.
“We also had a lot of nice and rare vintage cars on display.”
He said there were plenty of children who enjoyed playing in the police cars on display.
“It was a great day, the weather was nice and there were a lot for fathers and their children to enjoy,” Mr Partridge said.
The Moree Motor Enthusiasts will now focus on their next big event during the June long weekend next year.
“Moree will host the North West Rally next year which is for vintage and veteran cars only,” he said.
Mr Partridge said each year the rally was hosted in a different town and it was up to Moree to make it bigger and better.
“We’ve got a committee set-up and are planning already,” he said.
