Their romantic, fun and charming show will be held at the Moree town hall to help raise funds for local charity CanAssist.
Moree Arts Council president, Toby Osmond, said after Beck’s popular performance in Moree last year, they thought it would be nice to invite her back to the town.
“The last time we held an event for CanAssist we raised in excess of $6000 so we thought after that fantastic result we’d do it again. A percentage of the tickets and all profits from the food and beverages will be donated,” he said.
‘My Baby just Cares for Me’ has been performed throughout Australia and features songs from Les Miserables, My Fair Lady, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Sound of Music and more.
“We’ve already sold around 150 tickets and we will be doing so right up until the day of the show. It is going to be a big night for those attending as we usually don’t see stars such as Rach and David in Moree,” Mr Osmond said.
There will also be a raffle on the night to again raise money for CanAssist.
Beck is known for her role as Belle in Beauty and the Beast, leading lady in the production of Les Miserables, The Sound of Music and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Hobson is a renowned performer, staring in roles for Opera Australia.
His role of Rodolfo in La Boheme is internationally known and loved.
“It is going to be a memorable night and the Moree Arts Council is very excited for the people of Moree to be able to experience the show,” Mr Osmond said.
Tickets are available from Sylvia’s Fabrics or MyStore.
The show starts at 7pm with doors opening at 6.30pm.
