Between 10pm on Tuesday and 11:15am on Saturday, a house on Bucknell Street was broken into with a .410 single barrel shotgun and ammunition stolen from the premises.

Police from Barwon Local Area Command were called to the house and searched the area.

They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the break-in or has information about the whereabouts of the firearm is to contact Mungindi Police or Crime Stoppers.
