The committee are asking those who attend to bring a plate of food to share.
Doors open at the Pallamallawa hall at 11.30am for tea and coffee with an Anzac Day commemoration service to start at 12pm.
After the service there will be the ‘bring a plate’ lunch and a free sausage sizzle.
The bingo competition will start about 1.30pm followed by two-up at the Pallamallawa pub at 2.30pm.
Prizes have been donated from various businesses around the district and all prizes must be won on the day.
A five-game card for bingo will only cost you $5 on the day.
Not only will you get the chance to celebrate Anzac Day in the traditional spirit but those in attendance will also be able to view the local military history, be able to feel the WWI German machine gun and get an update of how the Pallamallawa War Memorial project is developing.
The Pallamallawa War Memorial Committee has been working with the community to build an external war memorial for the village.
They have held various fundraisers and were given grants and are now on their way to getting the external memorial built.
The committee are requesting school children to attend the commemoration service in their respective uniforms and would like the children to lead in the singing of the national anthem.
The committee would like to see local families and students attend the day, along with anyone from around the region who would like to participate in the day.
