The day had 77 entrants participating from Dubbo, Tamworth, Inverell, Narrabri and Goondiwindi as well as those from Moree.
Competition was keen.
The largest group of riders were the C class seniors, which proved to be a tough battle throughout the day.
The junior riders put on a great display of competitive riding with many of them using the day as a last chance to hone their skills for last weekend’s state titles in Dubbo.
The 50cc competitive and non-competitive riders put on a great display to show what there is to look forward to as these riders throw all of their energy into great riding.
Conditions were perfect, although some of the younger riders ran into trouble on various corners early in the day after the track was watered.
Oliver Marchand showed his fitness in the 65cc class for the upcoming state titles. Cameron Taylor battled in the A and B class as well as open senior race to win the main senior events.
Team Crowe riders from Garah were again well represented in all junior races and showed great enthusiasm and skilful riding to finish the day with a bag of medals.
The club now looks forward to three upcoming events: The Upper Horton Trail ride on May 3 and 4, a club practice day on the afternoon of May 10 and the next club MX day on May 18.
