It is believed the pony club proposed to move the existing fencing with some members of the community believed to have opposed it.
The pony club believe they need full community support and that the whole area should be used for horse sports.
Pony club president David Watts wanted to know what the future of Webb Oval was and said that if it was open to the pony club it would give them the opportunity to host future events.
