AN outstanding performance and great audience attendance ensured the first weekend of ‘Boom Kapow’ went well for the Boomi BATS, despite the freezing temperatures and a lot of the cast suffering bad bouts of influenza.
President, Claudia Carrigan’s words following the first show last weekend was the showman’s well known phrase - ‘the show must go on’ - which saw the crowds thoroughly entertained by the stage actors who battled through courageously.
“This was definitely what this dedicated troupe held on to; delivering two nights of great entertainment, Claudia said, herself succumbing to the flu virus that hit the majority of the actors on the first night.
“If this is what they deliver when they are sick, then look out on the next four shows!”
The show and its fabulous acting cast were very well received by the crowds, a testament to their skilled performances, the theme of the show and the popularity of the productions whenever they are held.
The Boomi BATS show will be open for another few weeks to entertain audiences with what is shaping up to be another success story.
