Projects officer, Esther Chapman, said council would prefer people to register before the audition day.
“Although people can register at the auditions on the day, it makes things easier for us when we know how many people are attending the auditions,” she said.
After Inverell, the three judges Stuart King, Stevie Drenkhahn and Steve McPherson, will head to Goondiwindi for auditions at the golden age centre at 2pm QLD time on March 16.
The next auditions will be held at the banquet hall in Moree on March 23 at 2pm NSW time and they will finish at the Narrabri bowling club on March 30 starting at 2pm NSW time.
“Everyone is encouraged to come to the audtions if you are from eight to 24-years-old. It doesn’t matter if you’re only starting out or have been performing for years,” Ms Chapman said.
On April 12 at the Moree town hall the superstar grand final will be held in conjunction with Youth Week.
“This year as a guest judge we have X-Factor runner up Taylor Henderson coming. Last year we had Johnny Ruffo so we are very excited that Taylor has said yes,” she said.
Tickets will go on sale during mid-March for those keen on seeing the finalists battle and Taylor Henderson perform.
“This is a great competition for anyone wanting to boost your self-confidence or get yourself out there and know to the community. It is always great fun,” Ms Chapman said.
To register for any of the auditions, please call Moree Plains Shire Council on (02) 6757 3222.
